Matt Nathanson
Just before his sold out show at the Blind Pig in Ann Arbor, Matt Nathanson played a River Session at the Oxford Inn in Royal Oak to loyal River fans on a Sunday afternoon. Matt chatted with Gnyp and played 4 exclusive River acoustic songs on a guitar he had to borrow because of luggage delays. Matt Nathanson is a true trooper.
Rilo Kiley
The River hosted Rilo Kiley before their show at the Royal Oak Music Theater for another River Session. We were lucky to record these great exclusive acoustic songs for you.
Feist

Rocco Deluca and the Burden River Session
939 The River held another River Session at Midwest Studios in Rochester Hills with Rocco Deluca and the Burden before their River Show. Jenny hosted the event with a crowd of River Winners taking in all the action. Rocco Deluca talked about his tour and the making of his album with Jenny and played some exclusive acoustic River tracks. Check out the Rocco Deluca River Session here.
O.A.R. River Session
939 The River hosted a River Session with O.A.R in Rochester Hills at Midwest Studios before their Freedom Hill show. Mark and Richard came by to talk with Gnyp and play some amazing acoustic music including a track that has yet to be released. The guys from O.A.R. were great with The River Ticket Window Winners signing autographs and taking pictures after the River Session. So sit back and enjoy O.A.R.
Grace Potter and the Nocturnals River Session
Grace Potter and the Nocturnals played a very exclusive River Session at Midwest Studios in Rochester Hills for our winners from our website contest. They were treated to seeing Grace Potter and the Nocturnals up close and personal in a small and intimate setting. Grace Potter celebrated her birthday a day early with the River winners. Willy Mason River Session
Willy Mason came by the River Studios to chat with Jenny before his free River Show at The Magic Bag in Ferndale. Willy has been a very busy artist touring the world and he took time to talk and play some great acoustic music. Sit back and enjoy one of The River's favorite artists.
Junction River Session
The Junction came by the River Studio before their show at the Avalon Fronton in June. They were excited to play some exclusive acoustic tracks and talk about their tour with Phat Matt. Check out the River Session from this up and coming band from Canada.
John Butler Trio River Session
The River welcomed the John Butler Trio into their studios just before the sold out show at St. Andrews Hall. The band chatted with Mark Lander and we were lucky enough to get them to play some exclusive River acoustic tracks. Keane River Session
Keane was kind enough to play a very exclusive River Session on Saturday May 19th at Midwest Studios in Rochester Hills. We had winners from our website contest come out to catch the guys in Keane play some acoustic tracks and answer some questions from Keane. Finger Eleven River Session
Finger Eleven joined Jenny on April 7th in the River studio before their show at Emerald Theater in Mt. Clemens. Finger Eleven chatted about the new album and played a couple of acoustic tracks for The River.
James Morrison played a Live River Session
James Morrison played a Live River Session with The River on Wednesday April 4th at Borders Books and Music in Birmingham. James played to a large crowd who came out to hear him play before his sold out show at The Magic Bag in Ferndale. James played four exclusive acoustic River tracks and chatted with Gnyp about what has been going on with his tour and album.
Paolo Nutini River Session

Willy Mason River Session
Willy Mason dropped by The River studio March 1st prior to his River After Work Party at Crush and his interview and performance on Acoustic Cafe. This 22 year old has taken Europe by storm and is starting to make a name for himself in North America. Willy has been garnering much praise and it has been said that he will be as influential as Johnny Cash. The River has become big fans of Willy Mason and we think you will as well. Check out the interview done with Gnyp and Willy Mason.
G. Love River Session
G. Love dropped by The River studios prior to his show at St. Andrew's Hall in downtown Detroit. He chatted with Jenny about his tour and the making of his albums. Pilot Speed River Session

MEET TIM CHAMPEAUX-THE VOICE OF 93.9 THE RIVER
The River would like to introduce you to Tim Champeaux. He is an integral part to the sound of The River. You might recognize his voice from the show "Sex and the City". Tim has a band called "The Local" which has been garnering alot of attention. One of their songs has been featured in a film called "Brooklyn Bound".
