Official Contest Rules for 93.9 The River On-Air Promotions

1.  How to Enter:

No Purchase NecessaryToEnter Or Win A Prize.  A Purchase Will Not Increase Your Chances Of Winning. 

 To enter all on-air contests on CIDR-FM, entrants must call (313) 298-7094 or (519) 792-6040 and be caller 10.  If caller 10 meets the requirements set forth in these official rules, they will be the winner of the prize set for in the contest on air.  All winners will be notified at the time of their winning call that they are the winner.  All Grand Prize drawings will be held at a later date once the contest is over.  All Grand Prize winners will be notified by telephone.  If the winner cannot be reached after three attempts, or if the winner is found to be ineligible, an alternate winner may be selected.  Qualifiers that did not win the Grand Prize will no be notified that they did not win.  CIDR is not responsible for difficulty accessing the Internet, service outages or delays, computer difficulties or any other technological difficulties involving the use or operation of the CIDR website.  Any materials or information submitted by entrants will become the property of CIDR-FM and none will be returned.  Limit one entry per person.  All contests on CIDR are void where prohibited or restricted by law.

2.  Eligibilty:

All CIDR contests are open to legal residents of Ontario, Michigan, Ohio and Pennsylvania of any age unless otherwise specified.  Employees of CIDR, and their respective partners, parent companies, divisions, subsidiaries, affiliates, trustees, licensees, are not eligible to participate in the contest and/or win any prize.  Additionally, relatives of and those living in the same household of such employees are not eligible to win.  For the purpose of all contests, relatives are defined as mother, father, in-laws, grandmother, grandfather, brother , sister , children and grandchildren.  Those who have won any prize from CIDR within the last 30 days are also ineligible to enter any contest or win a prize.  Once the 30 days have expired, they will then become eligible to win a prize again.  Cidr has sole discretion of any winner's eligiblity.

3.   Winners/Prizes:

No transfer, cash redemption or prize substitution is allowed.  CIDR reserve the right to substitute a prize for a prize of equal or greater value.  In the event and event is cancelled, a tee shirt will be awarded in place of event passes.  If winner chooses not to attend an event, CIDR will no substitute another prize.  All applicable federal, state, and local taxes including, without limitation, excise tax (including sates tax), ground transportation, spending money, meals are the winner's sole responsibility.  Winners may be required to sign an affidavit or eligibility and liability/publicity release, as and where instructed by CIDR, or the prize may be forfeited.  Winner may also be required to provide his or her United States social security number or Canada social insurance number for tax purposes.  Winner may also be required to provide his or her valid state issued driver's license.  If winner documentation is returned as undeliverable, prize may be forfeited.  If prize is returned as undeliverable or not picked up within 30 days, prize will be forfeited.  Decisions made by CIDR are final in all matters, including interpretation of these official rules and awarding of the prize.  If legitmately claimed, the prize will be awarded.

4.  Odds of Winning:

The odds of winning the prize depends upon the number of entrants.

5.  Limitation on Liability/Disclaimer/Other Requirements:

All entrants, as a condition of entry, agree to be bound by these official rules and the decisions of CIDR.  Except where prohibited by law, by entering this contest, each entrant consents to the use of his/her name, voice, picture, likeness and biographical data and/or any other information contained in his/her entry in advertising, promotional and marketing materials by CIDR in all media now known or hereafter discovered without additional compensation, notice review or approval.  All entrants further acknowledge that if they are chosen as a winner, certain of their personally identifying information will not may be disclosed to third parties but will be as required by law, including, without limitation, on a winners list.

If any contest is not capable of running as planned, including, without limitation, because of human error, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failure or other cause beyond the control of CIDR wich corrupts or threatens to corrupt or adversely affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the contest, CIDR reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, suspend and/or modify this contest and CIDR can conduct an alternate sweepstakes in order to award the prize, in its sole discretion.

PARTICIPANTS AGREE TO RELEASE CIDR, SPONSOR AND THE SPONSOR AFFILIATES FROM ANY AND ALL LIABILITY, CLAIMS OR ACTIONS OF ANY KIND WHATSOEVER FOR INJURIES, DEATH, DISABILITY, ATTORNEYS' FEES, COSTS OF LITIGATION AND SETTLEMENT AS WELL AS DAMAGES OR LOSSES TO PERSONS AND PROPERTY THAT MAY BE SUSTAINED IN CONNECTION WITH THE RECEIPT, OWNERSHIP, OR USE OF THE PRIZE, PARTICIPATING IN ANY CONTEST OR WHILE TRAVELING TO AND/OR FROM A LOCATION TO OBTAIN OR USE THE PRIZE OR PARTICIPATE IN A CONTEST.

CIDR, SPONSORS, OR THE SPONSOR AFFILIATES DO NOT MAKE ANY WARRANTY, REPRESENTATION, OR GUARANTEE,EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, IN FACT OR IN LAW, RELATIVE TO THE USE OF THE PRIZE INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, QUALITY, MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR ANY AUTOMOBILE WARRANTIES IMPOSED BY LAW, WHETHER NOW KNOWN OR HEREAFTER ENACTED.

CIDR, Sponsor, or the Sponsor Affiliates are not responsible for technical, hardware, software, cable or telephone malfunctions of any kind, lost or unavailable network or telephone connections, or failed, incorrect, incomplete, inaccurate, garbled or delayed electronic communications caused by CIDR, Sponsor or the Sponsor Affiliates, the user, or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in any contest or by any human error which may occur in the processing of the entries or calls in or administration of any contest which may limit an entrant's or calller's ability to participate.  Further, CIDR, Sonsor or the Sponsor Affiliates are not responsible for any lost , late, illegible, misdirected, mutilated, incomplete or postage-due mail.  Any person who supplies false information, enters by fraudulent means, or is otherwise determined to by in violation of these official rules in an attempt to obtain the prize will forfeit the prize won and may be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.  Each entrant agrees no to knowingly: damage or cause interruption of the contest; or obtain or modify another's information withour their consent.  Submission of an entry or an attempt to call in for a chance to win is acknowledgement of an agreement to be bound by all terms and conditions of these official rules.
