Thursday 8/26 – Sunday 8/29 - The 35th Annual Tecumseh Corn Festival happens Thursday through Sunday at Lacasse Park!  Bring the whole family out to enjoy the activities, food and entertainment, and don’t miss a special River presentation of Theory of a Deadman who will be taking the stage Friday night at 9pm!

Saturday 8/28 – 93.9 The River will be hanging out in Heritage Park in Cantion from 10a-12pm with our furry four legged friends at “Paws in the Park”!  Saturday and Sunday - bring your dog out to enjoy the competitions, agility course and more!  Tickets are just $5, dogs and kids get in free!

Saturday 8/28 & Sunday 8/29 – Join the River Roadies AND over 130 artists and artisans in Amherstburg at Art by the River - Essex County’s oldest arts and crafts show!  Enjoy the entertainment, workshops in the children’s area or take a guided historic tour!  Art on the River takes place 10-5pm, visit gibsonartgallery.com for more info!

Sunday 8/29 – Join 93.9 The River at the Detroit Zoo Sunday morning at 7:45 for Walkin' on the Wild Side, benefiting The Hemophilia Foundation of Michigan!  There will be entertainment, prizes, and fun for all ages!  Registration is $15 per person gets you all day admission to the zoo, refreshments and a Walkin’ on the Wild Side for Hemophilia t-shirt.

Thursday 9/2 – Don’t miss 93.9 The River’s final Thirsty Thursdays of the summer… on the patio at Como’s in downtown Ferndale!  Get there between 7-9pm to take advantage of the $5 pizza and drink specials!

Friday 9/3 – Monday 9/6 – This Labor Day weekend – head to downtown Royal Oak for Arts Beats and Eats!  Enjoy the food, art and performances from over 200 bands!  93.9 The River will be hanging out on Sherman Street…stop by to play some River Plinko and win tons of prizes!  Phat Matt and Dan MacDonald will be broadcasting LIVE Friday and Saturday – and don’t miss special acoustic performances inside Goodnite Gracies from Pato and Robin Horlock!
